Why are Greensboro local ordinances so anti-unhoused (aka homeless)?

People standing in medians asking for money for food or to live on in general is not a "safety risk." That's often the rationale used for such ordinances, but it is part of an anti-unhoused or anti-homeless bias that exists in most communities, Greensboro especially. It's insensitive and cruel. 

If you don't like to see people standing out on medians asking for money, look the other way, or maybe push your member of Congress and Senators to help pass a higher federal minimum wage, get rid of the tariff, provide national health care, or money to help people out. Gosh knows, we have it.
