Will AI wipe us all out?

Who knows? It's already stealing our data and intellectual property. I wouldn't be shocked if it decides we are in the way, and it eliminates us because of it. How do you feel about the fate of humanity being left up to the likes of Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and Dario Amodei to put guardrails in place? That question answers itself, I suppose.
