Is Donald Trump to blame for the Cornell 7 rapists?

 I feel confident that a lot of the reason we have situations like we have with the Cornell situation  is the pervasive mindset that allowed Trump to get elected. And that mindset is one of sexism and misogyny that is really as old as time. But what is particularly nefarious about the Trump situation is that it is somehow attempted to justify these things whereas the opposite political persuasion, the Democratic Party, tries at least to do the opposite. Donald Trump has normalized bigotry, rape, prejudice, and general meanness, even though he was not in office when the Cornell seven raped that woman to some extent indirectly responsible.
